Ups and Downs.....

.....this past two weeks has been full of them!!

The up's well there's just one really but a very nice one!
I'd like to introduce my new nephew
Charlie

Here we are having our first cuddle at 7 days.
Charlie arrived at 4:32 am on Wednesday 14th November
weighing a lovely 6lb 5oz, isn't he a beauty.
Huge congratulations to Becky and Andy!

So this gave me the perfect opportunity to get one of my Arty Farty Templates out again!
I made this Princess Pram using Core'dinations Card, Papermania Acetate, Stampin Up Brads, Ribbon, Lace and Peel-offs form my stash

I'd like to enter my pram into challenges at:

Fussy & Fancy ~ Feeling Blue.
Creative Card Crew, Inspire Me Friday & Make It Monday ~ Anything Goes!
Made Especially for You ~ Shaped Card.
Come And Get It Challenges ~ More than one Fold.
Unstampabelles ~ Monochrome.
Simply Create ~ A Link party!

Now the down!!!
Now did you know that Crochet is a dangerous hobby!!!
well, I managed to tear the ligaments in my ankle whilst partaking in said craft!!
How? I hear you ask..........
Sitting in a nice comfy chair with my feet up next to me having my break at work. I got pins and needles in my leg so I stood to relieve them and I just went over, turning my ankle right over. The crack was so loud I thought at first i had dislocated my ankle but it turns out that I have torn all the ligaments on the outer ankle and cracked a bone too!! All this making a blanket for little Charlie!!!

This is my rather shapely ankle then, its varied shades of purple, yellow
and blue now but thankfully not as painful!!

Susie, oh Charlie is such a cutie and the pram you have made is gorgeous. Well, what do I say about the foot? All I can say it looks a mess but hopefully the pain will go down more and it will look more like a proper foot. It's amazing how you did it though. I broke my foot years ago by dropping a tin of baked beans on it so I know how easy it is to do something. Take care, Kym xxx

That pram is beautiful. The foot is not BUT the baby certainly is!!! What a saga - sometimes it just goes like that, doesn't it. Your little paper object is fabulous. Thanks for joining in the fun at Unstampabelles Mono challenge.

A big congratulations! And holy smokes that is one dangerous crafting activity! That could quite possibly be the most swollen ankle I've seen! Hope all heals quickly.

The baby is beautiful and that pram is flat-out amazing.

However, your ankle is kind of scary. I hope it mends quickly and that you're feeling better now.

I did know that crochet is dangerous. In fact, any hobby that uses needles is dangerous.

Love the look of the pram, so many little details to it. Sorry to hear about your ankle, I know how much that hurts having done the same injury a few years ago. Thanks for sharing at Unstampabelles.
