This Thursday its all about........."Masquerade"

This week at This Thursday its all about.............. Masquerade, you can eith make a mask, mask something off, use Masking fluid or make something that masquerades as something else.
This weeks Guest Designer is A blogging friend of mine Dawn
I've made my mask from sratch using some Plaster of Paris on a roll ( the stuff we use for plaster casts at the hospital) James kindly laid on the sofa and allowed me to cover him in this goo to make a mold of his upper face. After about 10 minutes the mold is set enough to remove and a further hour the mold is hard enough to cut and shape. Its very messy but I like the results of the two I've made and with a bit more practice...........
the top mask:
is waxed with Silver wax paste, I've used permanent marker to draw on the eyelashes and coated in glitter, ricrac ribbon for the edge, rosettes made with black organza ribbon.
Bottom Mask:
Painted with poster paint and then the floral pattern was drawn on with the permanent marker
glitter glue to highlight the leaves, and strung seed beads around the edge, satin ribbon and skeleton leaves to decorate

Finally my card is made using a image painted with masking fluid the water coloured.Ive used this weeks Sketch from Ismaki
