A Right Busy Weekend......
Well I'm Back from the wilds of Canterbury and a fantstic time was had by all I hope!!!!!
Well I did anyway.....and below are the fruits of my labour. The weekend consisted of 6 classes all of which I had had either no experience of or minimal prior to going. My first class was to Alter the below tins and I'm so please with them I've made two more since I got home, !!!!!
Ive used Blonde Moments "Spring Fling" papers and assorted ribbons from my stash.
Saturday Kicked of with a Accordian book Class the idea is to fill the book with various ways of using ribbon to embellish card and scrapbooks alike. I used BG Urban Couture Papers and Various ribbons and fibres.

Saturday after Lunch we had a visit from Jennie from http://www.thestampconnection.co.uk/ She taught us the joys of alcohol inks and ATC's, well I'm hooked now!!! All the images below are avalible form Jennies Shop.
Saturday Babs Taught me how to make a waterful card (the others being confirmed Scrapper's declined this one.) unfortunately since returning home the card hasn't survive the wonder of Aiden He though it was fantastic and has worn it out!!!!!:(
Sunday morning Clair showed us how Fab the Bind it All Machine is......again Ive use dthe BM papers so now I have a wonderful Desk top set.
And finally Sunday afternoon Babs showed me this wonderful Pop-up/Exploding box. Unfortunately CardmagicUK has departed and is no longer running CMUtd retreats but
for information on retreats such as my weekend contact Babs (MagicLady) at http://www.faithscrappersuk.com/ Although I am not a practicing Christian I was made welcome and this weekend I made Two extremely wonderful Friends. I will defiatelybe joining them again.

Green IS a nice Colour!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today over at Do crafts Forum http://www.docrafts.co.uk/ someone said that you can't make nice cards using green so I thought I'd have a go at proving them wrong!!!!!!
Both of these cards are made using K&co Brenda Walton Brookfield papers, Prima- Got Daisies, K&co/Basic Grey Metal Sentiments,Papermania CS, Whispers Ink and Dovecraft chalk, yellow mulberry flowers from Ebay, again the fairy stamp is Dawn Bibby and is stamped with Stazon and painted with Twinkling H2O's.
Happy birthday follows a sketch set by http://ismaki.wordpress.com/ this is their first challenge.
Believe is for Sketch 35 at http://carte-maniak.over-blog.fr/ I discover them today while blog surfing
While I'm at it I suppose I cant but this forward for another go at DCM http://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/
Well I like them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and Green!!!!!!!!!!!
Simple but pretty!
Simple but effective the flower stamp is from Lakeland and the "Get Well Soon" is All Night Media, Painted with H2O's and trimmed with some ribbon from my stash.

DCM " Me and My Shadow"
" to create not just one but TWO cards ! But wait........there's more ! I want both cards to contain the same embellishments and papers, ribbons etc- but arranged in a different way for a different occasion....the only thing being different is the wording." http://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/
My cards are made with CS from The Papermil Shop, K&co Brenda Walton "Dolls house"Papers, Prima- Got Daisies, Papermania Brads and Gems, MM Petite Signage - Summer, ribbon from my stash and the fairy stamp is I think a Dawn Bibby. I have stamped both images with Jet black Stazon and coloured with Twinking H2O's, inked the edges with whispers turquoise and added a touch of dovecraft chalks too!
Ive used a couple of Di's Sketches too.. http://dihickman.blogspot.com/
Seeing as there are a few brads on each card I think I can put these forward for this weeks http://scrummystashcafe.blogspot.com/ "Brad Pitt" Challenge.
Personally I'm more of a Johnny Depp Girl myself but I can appreciate the attraction!!!!!!!!!!!
