Quickie Sketches.

I had a little playtime after tea, enough time for a few quickie sketches.

In our village we have this wonderful little shop that sells allsorts from secondhand toys, clothes, furniture, memorabilia & everything you need to create Dolls houses. She alway's has loads of cheap ribbons and lace so a weekly trip and spend of usually no more than £5 always restocks my lace box.

My 1st makes of this afternoon Cupcake's challenge of A Matching Set teamed up with Mojo Monday's double sketch #123.

next is for Chelsea's #18 at Crafting Life's Pieces, The Pink Elephant " Pink Bows & Polka Dots" along with Incy Wincy's "Buttons, Bow's, Ribbon & Lace".

next is for Vicki & Susie's Christmas Club " Gingerbread" , Bah Humbug "Baubles" & ABC Christmas "Candy" . Ive used #50 from Our Creative Courner Stamp & Smiles.

my final and favourite make of this afternoon is for Our Creative Courner sketch challenge along with "Hearts & Romance" for Crafty Cardmaker & "White on White" for Charisma Cardz.

Card Patterns #48 and my friend Willy.

Here's one I made late last night ( couldn't sleep) this uses #48 from Card Patterns.

This is my friend Wilson or Willy more often than not. We have had him for 8 months , we gave him a home when his previous owner found she couldn't cope with him and 2 small children when her husband left. He has been absolutely wonderful and is such fun and a bit mad with it. We had to have our old dog rehomed in June last year after a sudden onset of aggression toward myself, I felt that I could not trust Max any longer and was affraid of him, afterall I would have had no chance against a huge German Shepard with the hump...........!

Willy is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Boxer, beautifully affectionate and loves to be cuddled has a passion for balls and is extremely well behaved when asking for his dinner. After the situation with Max I started to develope a growing fear of all dogs and would even cross the road to avoid another dog. After Max left James found Willy on-line and felt that I just had to try again, James and the Kids were so upset that Max had to go and our home was just not right without a doggy friend. Willy has been perfect in rebuilding my confidence with woofer's and has become MY dog alway's coming to me for fuss and love.

And to be honest who could resist those eyes!!!

A bit more BasicGrey.

I'm totally loving BG Origins the colour pallete has to be my favourite, the only trouble is nowI need to buy more!!!.

Card 1 : Uses #34 at Sweet Sketch Wednesday, "Patterned Paper" at Practical Scrappers and "Flutterby" for Quixotic Challenges.

Card 2: Is for "Blooming Gorgeous" at Cute Card Thursday , " Feminine" at Creative Inspirations and Jay Jay's sketch for Just Magnolia.

Card 3: Is for "Freestyle" at A Spoonful of Sugar, "Mother" at Sophisti-Cats ,I've used the latest sketch from Polka Doodles.

Card 4: my final card for today is for Friday Sketchers #86.

Wednesday Fun!

I came across another challenge blog today while blog hopping.........Ippity are asking for a shaped card, I started this card this morning after shopping for my LMC mag .......well what other shape would do?? Ive layered the white on yellow and inked the edges in hope to make it look like oozing marmalade! This is my entry for CB's LMC 30 challenge.

My next make is for sketch from Rosie Dee, the images on this card & the next I received in the post this morning for Crafts Beautiful forum January Image Swap.
