Crochet Crazy ~ Cozy Apples!

Another quick and cute Cozy pattern from Anna.

My husband completely missed the point by asking why you would want to keep your apple warm!! (silly man!!!)

Yesterday I made some Mug Cozies and Pot handle holder to match her Tea Cozy.

I've used free patterns from Anna at CraftyAnna for the Mug Cozies 

as these have bottom's they also work a as coasters too

and the Pot Holder from Coats & Clark.

this is Not Suitable as a Oven Glove.

I've used 5.0mm hook for both with Double knit wool.

Getting Hooked again!

Here's a Tea Cozy I hooked together yesterday evening, Its a little tight on my teapot but my Mum prefers the shorter and round teapots.

The pattern for this cozy can be found Free at Coats & Clark and is designed by Joan Barnett.

This teapot took approximately 4 hours to make and uses less than 1/4 of a ball of each of Turquoise and Cream double knit wool I have used a 5.00mm hook.

Wales 2011.

I thought I'd just share a few pic's of this years Welsh Wanderings.

This year we decided to climbed a circuit of 3 mountains which took in Tryfan, Gyder Fawr & Gyder Fach 

This circuit took us 11 hours and I have to say we were exhausted and sore.

For those sceptic's out there who say the mountains in Wales are a walk in the park here's the proof that lots of Climbing was envolved!

As you can see the views are astonishing and It's amazing how quite it is up there!

Cosy Crochet.

While I've been away my hands have not been idle.

 I used the chilly and wet evenings in the tent with my hook.

My Blanket is  cot sized and is commissioned by a lady I work with for her new Granddaughter.

I have used 1 ball of each Spring Green, Lemon & Rainbow Flecked wool and 1 1/2 balls of White.

 All Double Knit with a 4.5mm hook.

Cooooooooeeeeeeee......

I've been missing in action in North Wales for a week and it was lovely, despite coming home more tired and achy than I was when we went!! (picutes to follow)
